The Turkey and Russia strengthen ties after dented relations between the two countries last November over alleged downing of a Russian fighter jet in Syria. The Turkish President issued and apology in June.
The leaders of both countries have decided to work together on a pipeline deal. The Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a deal to build a pipeline that would help the direct supply of gas to Turkey.
Despite being on opposing sides on the war in Syria the two leaders have pledged to work together on delivering humanitarian aid to the needy in Syria and work together to deliver gas through Turkey to the rest of Europe
