Swansea v Burnley (highlights)

 

The match between Swansea city and Burnley FC at the Liberty stadium on Saturday the 4th of March 2017 almost got Swansea football club hard done.

The referee wrongly awarded a penalty to Burnley for ball handling in the Swansea 18 yard box when actually it was Sam Vokes of Burnley that got hit on the arm inside the box.

Swansea Fernando Llorente’s 12th minute goal earlier was then unjustly cancelled 8 minutes later by Andre Gray’s penalty spot kick.

It seemed like Swansea city’s hopes of a 3 point had been extinguished when Andre of Burnley scored a second putting his team ahead in the 61st minute.

Swansea nevertheless were relentless in their effort and produced an equaliser as proof of that with a Martin Olsson goal in the 69th minute followed by yet another goal courtesy of Fernando Llorente.
