Blindness (Poem)

Are you so blind, you cannot see my heart?

Worn so plainly on my dishevelled sleeve,

Beating out a heartfelt melody,

Singing a harmonious love ballad to thee.

Are you so blind, you do not know my mind?

Poured out as torrents onto paper plain.

Screaming words of passion,

teeming from my brain.

Are you so blind, still too blind to see,

That you are indeed, everything to me.
