Sunny Summer Saturday – Trevor Gear @trevorgear

Sunny Summer Saturday

I burn lots of rubber when I take the wheel

Everybody gets out of my way

With the wind in my hair and a pretty girl there

And we’re heading for the motorway

A team so mean this man and machine

A real fast lady do you know what I mean

And I’m goin’ to the places where I know I’ll be seen

On a sunny summer Saturday

I’ve got a 5 speed box and automatic locks

A quadrophonic stereo too

And when the lights turn red I leave them all for dead

They are green with jealousy it’s true

It feels so fine I see my lady smile

These wheels of mine are burnin’ up each mile

I like the way she handles and I like her style

On a sunny summer Saturday

I am the centre of attention when I’m in my car

On a sunny summer Saturday

And if my passenger should mention that we’re goin’ too far

I simply say we’re goin’ all the way

A team so mean this man and machine

A real fast lady do you know what I mean

And I’m goin’ to the places where I know I’ll be seen

On a sunny summer Saturday
