Do you do everything as an act?

Yes I play all the instruments. Sing, write, compose and arrange everything.

What are your ambitions when you first started?

To make sure I didn’t suck! To make sure I was a viable musician. That I’m not crazy and to get my message out there.

Could you explain your music to someone that haven’t heard you?

I model my song writing after mother goose tales and fables except more dubious and wicked! My music mothers are Julia Andrews, Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Sade and Sarah McLaughlin.

Why did you pick that particular style?

I felt like for someone with a rather lengthy opinions this style is more malleable for story telling.

Have you made any albums?

Yes I have my newest album is under consideration for a Grammy this year it’s titled The Poisoners Garden. You can go to my website and see everything I have done prior to.

What got you started in music?

Bad Music… Bad Songwriting and jealousy.

Which solo artist is the best you´ve seen?

Florence and the Machine She is a TRUE artist songwriter.

What are your goals with your music?

I would like to go to Vegas and make a show with

Circ De Soleil

What’s the first step when making a new song?

Well first I have an idea for a song I look for fashion shows, images mood boards, and sound ideas and Album title.

Then I like to be a little sleepy drink a cup of coffee and just go off till something sticks. Then I edit, polish the golden thread, and pray everyone likes it.

How do you feel about the downloading of music instead of buying albums?

I feel like you have to adjust to the market and what your fans want. My fans want merch concerts and more albums I write in a way that if you don’t get the full album you will miss the story but each song stands on it’s own either way. The customer is ALWAYS right!

What would be your dreams for the act?

That’s a secret… Stay Tuned!

Besides your own music, what genres and acts do you listen to?

With our country in this election cycle I have to listen to happy joyous music like anything from the 80’s and of course Classical and Baroque music.

What do you hold most dear?

My family and friends. My children my music and our planet. Sounds like a beauty queen answer!

What would be your greatest fears for the future?

Never breaking out of obscurity.

How important are your fans?

The Only way I make it day to day aside from the love of my family my fans giving me notes and support keeps hope alive!

Name 2 of your own songs you like at the moment?

The Poisoners Garden and Refuge.

Do you have any webpages?

I certainly do!

Please come say HI & meet everyone!

Facebook ?

Describe your show, visually and musically?

Baron Von Munchhausen(were embracing our crazy) and The Diva Plavalaguna from the 5th Element.

How do you view the music industry of today?

Well in keeping with a pageant answer trend I think it’s fine…

My REAL answer is it’s on it’s last days. Everyone’s propped up artificially it seems and the artists are being taken for a ride with Tom Hardy in Mad Max!

What advice would you like to give other acts?

If your going to be a musician REALLY do it please it’s already very hard to get above the noise of the machine but having to get over iPhone videos and bathroom recorded albums is upsetting. Usually those people never evolve and never take down profiles, weeding through it is a nightmare. So if you are starting out yes this is a way to start but if your thinking your youtube video is a lotto ticket to Bieber fandom it’s not! So really do it if your going to do it.

What are the biggest obstacles for an act?

Raising yourself above the noise. Artist development on your own with no guidance (which is also a good thing) All the DIY frauds praying on honest musicians who are trying to get

their act out there on there own.  It’s hard to know who to trust.

And then there is your self!
