The ongoing popularity of this song on Deepstuff Radio, evidenced by its many twitter ‘likes’ and ‘retweets’, pretty much surprised me because I never felt it was one of my strongest compositions.

So I eventually figured that maybe it was because the track deals with a relatable theme, namely the feeling of being in love with someone who in turn is unaware that we are besotted with them, so that we find ourselves having to ‘hide behind a smile’.

In the lyrics the singer never actually gets around to actually declaring his love, so we are left to assume that the love he feels inside must remain forever unknown to the object of his affection..

A sad, but apparently understood and popular theme, that of a love unknown….
