Behind the scenes story: Trevor Gear @trevorgear with “All My Life”

Written in 3/4 or Waltz time which I think gives it a nice momentum, this song follows from inception to fruition the plan that a lovely lady and I made together soon after we met, to spend a weekend away the following winter in a snug cottage.

We would be aided and abetted in our adventure by a dvd or two, a cosy open fire and some nice wine (and a bottle of Southern Comfort if memory serves!)  Lyrics-wise I particularly like the lines:  “Now you had the cheek to make me go weak, in the knees and the head and you make me go red…”     

Maybe that’s how most relationships begin…
